At a beautiful cabin along the Escanaba River, a reception was held for supporters and lobbyists wishing to spend an evening with State of Michigan Governor, Jennifer Granholm. Thanks to hosts Carol and Steve Pence, Chasin' Steel was asked to provide the evenings entertainment. The Governor became an official Chasin' Steel fan leaving with both a CD and T-shirt. There was even talk of having Chasin' Steel perform at her inauguration in the event she is re-elected. Please note Chasin' Steel appreciates it's fans, Democrat or Republican or others alike.
